Enter one of our biggest weekends of the year…. Halloween in August!! Pat and his crew from Haunted Shack have once again returned to Timberline. The Spook House is almost complete and the Hayride will soon follow suit! Saturday August 12th at 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm the doors open for the kids and faint of heart. The regular show runs from 6:30 to 9:30. Please do not wait until the last minute to get in line! Hay ride for the kids and faint of heart is from 6-7pm. Regular show from 7- 10pm. Line will be cut off at 9:30 pm. Cost is $2.00 per attraction. We still need actor volunteers for the Haunted Shack and for the Hayride. If interested meet with Pat on Friday August 11th at 7:00 pm or Saturday August 12th at noon in front of the Rec. Center!
Saturday August 12th at 2:00 pm; Costume contest by the pool area. Prizes awarded for best costume in each age group. Trick or treating to follow immediately after.

Rumors: Word has it Cindy and I will be leaving at the end of the year. Not true. What is happening is we are slowly turning over the office duties and day to day operations to Amy Gorden. (We are getting old!) Amy has helped us out of the past few years and handled our reservation etc. last winter. This will be over a period of several years and when Amy’s husband Eric retires from service to our nation (4 years) he will join Amy and eventually take over all aspects of running the campground. Cindy and I will remain on site over the next several years to make sure this transition goes as seamlessly as possible. You’re not getting rid of us that easily!
I am pretty cognizant believe it or not about what goes on in the campground. If happenings don’t directly affect you or your site, please let it go.
We are reviewing our contract language at this time and will have 2018 contracts ready to be picked up on September 9th. If you are on my naughty list, I will let you know by September 1st that you won’t be offered a contract.
