Good morning, Campers!  It’s the final countdown this week, and this will be the last newsletter for a while.  Paige is hoping to have a new newsletter software for next summer, so we can return to the normal weekly email.

It was a bummer the weather did not cooperate this past weekend.  Hopefully it will be much better this weekend to get everything buttoned up for the winter months and enjoy the last of the season.  We say it every year, but for some reason this year especially went by really fast.  Maybe it was because it took a little longer for summer to get here, so when it did finally arrive, we were already late into the season.  In any case, we hope you all had a fun one.

As always, we want to say a huge THANK YOU all of our work campers who help maintain our park from the mowing, bathroom cleaning, maintaining the pool every day, splitting wood, garbage pick-up, pine needle pick-up, and the millions of other little things that are done behind the scenes to make Timberline a beautiful place to be. It takes a lot of work, so if you see them out and about, please thank them too.  Al, Sandy, Mick, George, Jim, and Charlene we couldn’t run the place without your help so THANK YOU!  Thank you to Connie for helping out Paige in the office, so she could get a little time off.  And thank you to Pam, Mike, Lisa, and Stacy for running all the park and kid’s events as well as all the volunteers who helped out.  It takes a team to run this place and we could not have a better one!  If you see them out and about, please thank them also.

We look forward to sitting down later this fall to begin planning events for next season.  We are always open for suggestions.  For the bigger events, like Halloween, we can always use more volunteers, so if anyone is interested in helping out for any of the events, please let the office or Pam know.  The more the merrier!

If you plan on walking in to check on your camper this winter, please give Paige a heads up via phone message or email.  We want to make sure there are not any random people walking through that should not be here.

Oktoberfest is happening at the ice rink in Moose Lake Saturday. Check out the flier for more info.

The gates to the park will be closed at 5:00pm on Sunday evening, so please make sure your sites are winterized by then and you have your final electric reading done if you have not already done so.  Again, you can send Paige a photo of your electric if you would like and she will let you know how much you owe.

Office hours this weekend.  Friday 11 – 5, Saturday 10 – 4, Sunday 10 – 5.

We hope everyone has a nice and safe winter!  Until next spring….

Cheers,

Bob, Sean, Paige, and Craig
