The park has been put to bed and like a hibernating bear, will sleep peacefully throughout the cold snowy winter. And not unlike the bear, Timberline will wake up with a voracious hunger that will not be satisfied until everyone returns next spring. It is our hope that everyone has a great off-season and comes back invigorated, rejuvenated and excited to start the 2018 camping season.
As of January 1st, Amy Gorden will join our team. She is no stranger to Timberline. Amy, along with her kids have spent most of 3 seasons here with us while her husband Eric had been deployed overseas. Amy has a great understanding of the way the park operates and will be a great addition to our management team. Upon retiring in a few years, Eric will complete the team. We fully anticipate a seamless transition as Bob, Cindy and myself will continue to be active in our support of both Amy and the needs of Timberline!
After a conversation neither one of us wanted to have, Krissy Cameron, our long time Activities Director will not be returning this year. It was not an easy decision for her to make, as she considers Timberline her “happy” place! She just has to much on her plate right now. However, Krissy will still stay involved and continue to help us with our marketing and our Facebook page. Thank you Krissy, you helped us take our events to the next level and helped make memories for many families!
With that said, I am grateful that two wonderful ladies have stepped up and will continue our tradition of outstanding events! Pam Pilon and Lori Tverberg will take on the responsibilities of Co- Activities Directors! They did an incredible job with the prom last year and we are looking forward to what they will have planned for us this coming season! We hope to announce our event schedule after the first of the year.
