We are thankful the sun made an appearance this week. The river is near normal level and the sites are starting to dry up nicely. The power should be back on to the river sites sometime on Friday. Hopefully we can start moving most of the affected campers back by Saturday. If your site is dry we would appreciate it very much if you could get back onto your site this weekend. We are really strapped for space.

As of last weekend we had planned on cancelling the Haunted House and Hayride, just going with the costume contest and trick or treating. But today, Pat Stoyevich of the Haunted Shack stopped in to see first hand, the carnage caused by the recent flooding. He told me his crew really wants to come do the full blown Halloween experience for us. He said after what we’ve been through we all deserve a night of fun! He has assembled a big crew of his people to come down, set things up and put on the whole production. So I am elated to announce, Halloween featuring the Haunted Shack is back on!! Thank you so much Pat and crew. I know our teens like to dress up and scare people on the Hayride, and they are welcome to do so again this year.

The pool and snack bar will be open this weekend. Yay!!

As cleanup continues we will assist in any way we can to get you and your site back to normal. Atv’s will be allowed in the park one more weekend. Golf cart curfew remains 11:00 pm.

Travel safe,

Vern
