Memorial Day weekend is fast approaching with what promises to be a fun filled weekend at Timberline! Our outdoor heated pool is ready for a season full of sun and enjoyment. The snack bar will also be opening, this year featuring 8 flavors of hard scooped ice cream. Yum!! On Saturday night at 7PM, DJ carl Monn will be cranking out the tunes for our first dance of the season. As with all of our dances, this one also has a theme. This year it is “Super Hero’s and Villains.” Dress up as your favorite hero or as a dastardly menace to society and join in the fun.

Upcoming events in June: Easter on June 11th, filled with fun, games and an Easter egg hunt. We may even have a visit from the Easter Bunny.

All you crafters and home business owners, be sure to sign up for the 4th annual Timberline Craft Show on June 25th. This is a great venue to show off your wares so please sign up as soon as possible and reserve your space! To be a vendor contact, Cindy Gustafson, site 23 or Sarah Maske, site 96, or by calling 218.393.9677, or 612.810.0295. Let’s have another amazing show. Also on the evening of June 25th, we will have Bingo!! Mark these events on your calendar, or visit our new website often for all up to date details.

Also beginning on June 4th, join us along with fitness instructor Jill Contreras for  Saturday morning workouts. It will be geared for all of us, male and female alike to shape up those tired nary used muscles we all have, but haven’t seen  for awhile! It will be a great way to get yourself ready for our challenging “Mud Run” course in August.

It has been reported that some vehicles are going the wrong way on our one way roads. Remember the road on the south end of the park is one way. For the safety of everyone, especially our children, please obey the traffic rules. Speed limit is 10 mph starting  our park entrance. This includes golf carts!

Our office will now start our regular season hours on Friday. Make sure you stop in and check out our merchandise, as we’ve had new items arrive lately.

Please drive and arrive safely this busy weekend. I imagine traffic will be heavy and at times horrendous. Take your time and think Timberline. Once you are here unwind, enjoy your family and friends at your home away from home!
