It is looking like this weekend may be a little on the cool side, so sitting by a campfire with your friends and family to keep warm will be a must!

Our first event of the year is Saturday, May 15th. This is our seasonal welcome back pot luck. We will begin eating at 6:00 pm. Please bring your favorite dish to share. Timberline will provide the plates, napkins and utensils. We especially encourage all of our new seasonal campers to attend. The variety of the cuisine is amazing and is sure to tantalize your taste buds!!

Now that most of you have your campers opened up for the season, how many of you had “visitors” over the winter? Those pesky rodents don’t need much of a space to gain entry and make your camper a nice winter vacation home for themselves. What kind of deterrent do you use? Dryer sheets, D-Con, mothballs? Let us know what you think works best so we can share with everyone when it comes time to close up shop in the fall.

Krissy has announced the theme for our Memorial Weekend dance. It will be “Super Hero’s and Villains”! Dress up as your favorite character and join in the fun.

A few tips for our newcomers. 1) We have city water and sewer. The water pressure in the park is 80 psi. We recommend you install a relatively inexpensive pressure reducer to protect the water lines inside your camper which could burst under the higher pressure. 2) please turn off the water at the spigot every time you leave after the weekend. 3) Keep your black water and grey water tanks closed, until either they are full, or you when are leaving for the weekend. Dump the black water tanks first, followed by the grey water tank.

Please travel safe and remember, speed limit in the park is 10 mph please, starting at the entrance canopy.

See you soon.
